George Demeter Unit (Boston) to host biennial conference

The George Demeter Unit in Boston is hosting a biennial conference on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM  at the Showa Women’s Institute in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Who should attend?

  • Elected, appointed, or administrative persons involved in municipal government
  • Members of homeowners or condominiums associations
  • Union members
  • Service organization members such as churches, fraternal, and religious organizations

Cost

$40 before April 23, 2014, otherwise $45

At the National Association of Parliamentarians Biennial Convention in early September 2013, NAP

President Maurice S. Henderson presented NEAP a charter to E. Marie Wilson, secretary, and Evan A. Lemoine, president.  The New England Association becomes the newest association and first multi-state association.

Since 1930, the National Association of Parliamentarians has been dedicated to educating members and the public of the principles and practices of democratic decision making and effective meeting management through the use of parliamentary procedure.
